Primary Efficiency filter cotton: Ideal for High Efficiency Air Filtration

  Primary Efficiency Filter Cotton is a basic filter material designed for air and liquid filtration systems, using nonwoven filter material (non-woven filter material) and natural cotton fiber composite process, combining high efficiency interception and economical use of both characteristics. In the modern industrial and civil fields, Air Filter Media technology has become the core link to ensure environmental cleanliness and equipment safety. As the first line of defense of the filtration system, primary filter cotton with its high efficiency, durability and versatility, widely used in air conditioning and ventilation systems, air purification equipment and industrial dust removal scenarios.

一、First, the core advantages of the primary filter cotton

   Primary filter cotton is made of synthetic fiber or polyester fiber, through the hot air method or needle punching method, with the following characteristics:

1.High-efficiency pre-filtration: It can intercept dust particles (such as dust, hair, etc.) with a diameter of ≥5μm in the air, effectively protect the back-end high-efficiency filter, and extend the service life of the overall filtration system.

2.Flexible Adaptability: Supports a variety of frame designs (e.g. metal frame, plastic frame), customizable size and structure, applicable to different equipment installation needs.

3.Environmentally friendly and recyclable: some products use incinerable paper frames to reduce environmental pollution.

二、Second, G2-G4 level grading application

   According to the filtration efficiency and industry standards (EN 779 or ASHRAE 52.2), the primary filter cotton is divided into G2, G3, G4 three levels:

1.G2 grade: filtration efficiency of about 68%, suitable for general ventilation system pre-filtration, such as automobile air conditioning (Auto Air Vent Filter) and home fresh air system.

2.G3 level: filtration efficiency is increased to 83%, suitable for scenarios with high air quality requirements (e.g. hospital corridors)4.

3.G4 grade: filtration efficiency up to 88%, commonly used in industrial dust removal or front-end protection of highly polluted environments

三、Third, the synergistic effect with other filter media

   Primary filter cotton is often used in combination with nonwoven filter material, Activated carbon filter material, etc. to form a multi-stage filtration system. For example, in the spraying workshop, the primary cotton can intercept large particles of impurities, activated carbon layer is adsorbed harmful gases, and ultimately through the high-efficiency filter to achieve comprehensive purification.
